Ahhh...One More Day in Tarquinia, Italy

Doggie was guarding the door into the restaurant when we went for breakfast the next morning. We tried not to disturb him and slithered in the door.

Not sure what the heck these critters were, but there were lots of them.

Must be mating season...

Another gorgeous day...

We planned to just hang around and chill today. Barb and I decided we would go see the horses we had heard about, so we set out. The building on the right is Anna's house.

Lots to do for the outdoorsy types...

Some old relics...

And a long walk downhill...

A line of trees...

Which turned out to be olive trees!

We had no idea what kind of nuts these were...

Beautiful fence full of flowers...

Morning glories, maybe?

We made it to the entrance with no sign of horses. Thankfully, one of the other guests pointed us in the right direction.

Horses!

Mission accomplished! We started the trek back to the farmhouse. Surely a glass of wine would be waiting for us.

I must have taken this photo ten times. It was just so beautiful there.

Don't worry...the chances of us going more than 10 km or mph were slim!

We thought we found a shortcut so I scooted ahead to make sure it wasn't a trick. Nope...come on, Barb!

So beautiful!

I knew there would be a glass of wine somewhere!

The roomba in action...we did get some amusement out of him. Every once in a while he would run in to a tree, back up and hit it again. Of course, he was sneaky enough to do it when I wasn't recording.

Love this photo of Barb and Ed ♥

Getting goofy now...is it time for dinner yet? Dinner was delicious. We would love to come back to stay here again.

After a wonderful stay, it was time to pack up. Anna drove us to the cruise ship terminal in Civitavecchia.

Superman on the right, but we can spot a Princess logo anywhere!

A busy day in port...three ships lined up on the left and at least one more on the right.

Yippee! Let the cruise begin...we would be sailing from Rome to Barcelona.

Time to go!

A new app on the TV was pretty helpful. We enjoyed a sea day as we made our way to our first stop of Kotor, Montenegro.

The entertainment on board is normally pretty good...

Especially the costumes!

Love the silks!

Ta da!

And the orchestra in one of the boxes. They also do a great job backing up many different acts.

Tomorrow, we're in a new country! Montenegro, here we come!
